C4C221 - Thanks

Hello! I'm popping in today to share a card I made for today's Crazy 4 Challenges color challenge (C4C221).  This week's challenge was to create a card/project using green, blue and purple, as well as stripes. (I also used the new sketch -- #100! -- over at the Retro Sketches blog.)

To create my card, I started by heat embossing the feather image from Reverse Confetti's Peacock Pretties onto white cardstock with white embossing powder.  Next, I colored the image with watercolors, and set the panel aside to dry.

While I was waiting, I used my Tag Me dies to cut out the tag shape, then ran it through my Cuttlebug with an embossing plate.  I stamped the sentiment from Lots to Say in Versamark ink, then heat embossed it with white powder.  I then cut the watercolored panel into three strips and adhered them to the card front.  To finish up my card, I added buttons, attached my tag, and embellished with green rhinestones.

Want to play along with us this week? All you need to do is create a card/project using the above colors as inspiration, and link up to the C4C221 blog post... Easy peasy! :)

Have a great one!
