Thanks So Very Much

Hello! I'm popping in to share a happy little card I created for the August Reverse Confetti color challenge... The colors this month are navy, red and gold.  Not my usual go-to colors, but it was a lot of fun trying to figure out how I was going to incorporate these colors into my card. :)

To create my card, I started with a white card base, and stamped one of the strip images from So Stripey in navy ink. (I wasn't super careful about how I inked up my stamp because I wanted the stripes to have a worn look.)  I then cut a strip of red CS, and adhered it to the card base.

Next, I die cut a tag using the Tag Me Confetti Cuts, then stamped it with one of the sentiments from Lots to Say before heat embossing it with gold powder.  I then cut a strip of red stars from the Oh My Stars Confetti Cuts, and adhered them to the tag.  To finish up, I tied a double bow from navy twine onto the tag, then attached it to the card base before embellishing with blue enamel dots.

Want to play along with us this month? All you need to do is create a card/project using the colors above (and Reverse Confetti stamps), and link it up HERE by Noon CST on August 29th! :)

Have a great one!
