Joy to the World

Hello! Tomorrow my daughter's school is holding a Parade of Words (which is their little Halloween thing), and I've yet to begin making her costume.  SO, what better way to avoid getting started than pop in here and post a sweet, little card I created using some Reverse Confetti goodies?! :)

To create my card, I started by adding an aqua watercolor wash to a piece of watercolor paper.  While the paper was drying, I stamped one of the ornament images from Merry & Bright in teal ink onto white CS, then cut it out using the coordinating Merry & Bright Confetti Cuts.

Once the watercolor layer was dry, I stamped one of the sentiments from Winter Word Coordinates in Versafine ink.  I then fiddled with a piece of black twine trying to find an arrangement I liked, then glued it to the panel.  The ornament was then adhered to the watercolor panel with foam tape, and the socket was colored with gray watercolor.  To finish up, I adhered the panel to a medium gray card base with foam tape.

Have a great one!
