Reflections

Here's a new layout of Lindsay... The photo in this LO was taken just a month or so after we moved into our house. When I first scrolled through the pictures on my camera, I thought I'd just gotten the back of her head... You have to look a little closer though to see her smiling face in the window. :) She was peering out the window watching her daddy mow the lawn. It's the sweetest little smile!

Unfortunately, the bling circle didn't really scan well, but it pops more IRL. The LO was made using Basic Grey's new Phoebe line, Impress stamps, and SU! Cranberry Crisp and Taken with Teal ink. The layout is based on a sketch, but I just feel like it's missing something... I don't know just what, but still! :P

She's been having this little language explosion for the past couple of months, it's just crazy! Some days, she's saying the same ol' same ol', and other days she's giving me two or three new words. Today she decided to surprise me with potty, pillow and outside. LOL I still can't believe my girl is going to be two in less than a month and a half!

The Kiss

Here is a recent layout of Lindsay titled "The Kiss." My dear, sweet girl LOVES to give kisses... to our kitties... to our friends... even to statues! LOL

We were at Jason's grandfather's 80th birthday party when I took these pictures... It was such a beautiful day and everyone had a great time!

This layout was created using Basic Grey's Blush paper line. I ~loooove~ BG! :)

The Pottery Stop

I went to The Pottery Stop two weeks ago with some of the ladies from Harvester... We all had such a great time! :) It was a ton of fun, even if my mug looks like it was hand-painted by Lindsay. LOL
Hopefully we'll get go back there again soon... :)

So very, very tired...

It's a little past 1:15 am, and I'm starting to wind down some... I was working on cleaning up our downstairs living room, and also mounting some of the new stamps sets I've purchased. Time flies when you're cutting and assembling! I really love the design of the new doodle stamps by Stampin' Up!, and hopefully I'll get some time soon to create! Maybe when my daughter goes down for her nap Sunday afternoon I'll get a moment or two to play. :)

Well, I should be running along... I've got church in the morning, so it probably would've been a better idea to go to bed sooner rather than later! LOL, and I wonder why I'm tired all the time?? :)

This is just the beginning...

Well, here I am joining the millions of other people out there who blog. :) I don't really have much to say (LOL, then why am I here????), but I wanted to at least put a toe in the water.

I am a wife to Jason, and a mommy to Lindsay (she'll be 2 in May). We currently reside in Columbia, MD, and have been here for a little over a year and a half. I work full-time, though I telecommute 2 days out of the week, so that eases my commute some.

My mom watches Lindsay for us while I work, and that's such a blessing! It makes my commute a little more than 4 hours each day I have to drive into town, but it's well worth it. :) LOL, remind me I said that the next time I'm complaining about being tired from all the road time. :P At the end of the year I will be saying goodbye to my current job and will be entering a new phase as a SAHM. I can hardly wait! :)
