Hey guys... Happy Monday! :) I don't know about you, but I am *tired* today. LOL, maybe that explains my flub with today's card.
I had planned on making a card for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge after I dropped my daughter off at school. We get up, get ready and head out the door, and all is well. I stop by the post office, come home, take the pup out for a quick walk and am ready to get down to business. So far so good!
I'm stingy with my toner, so normally I just make a quick sketch of the sketch, but I uhh, totally messed it up and didn't realize it until *after* I made the card and uploaded it to Flickr! The green CS is actually about half the size it's supposed to be... LOL, how does that happen??
Have a great one. :)
Instructions
- Trim kraft CS to standard A2 card base.
- Use border punch to punch out scallop edge on brown CS.
- Trim pink CS to 1 1/4" x 4 1/4", stamp with damask image in white ink, and adhere brown scallop strip.
- Trim green CS to 1 5/8" x 4" and stamp with polka dots in green ink.
- Add strip of brown ribbon to green cs, then adhere to card base.
- Adhere pink CS to card base.
- Cut out a circle (I hand cut a circle using the inside of a roll of Scor-tape as my template), stamp with pink damask image and brown sentiment, then distress outer edge.
- Adhere main image to card base, and embellish with bow and rhinestones.

I love your sentiment panel, Heather - - the image to the side…the distressing around the circle….really nice. And your little understated but still there blings up in the corner are a nice lil’ touch.
