Hello! :) This week over on the Winnie & Walter blog, they're debuting "Share the love", which is a series of posts showcasing projects that combine W&W stamps with other company's fabulous products (first up is Lawn Fawn). I love to mix and match images, it's a great way to stretch your stamps!
For my card today, I started with a navy card base, and stamped two rows of the medium chevron pattern from Chevron Backdrops in Versamark ink before heat embossing it with white embossing powder. Next, I stamped the bird image from You've Got Love Mail, and the heart from The Write Stuff, and heat embossed both images before trimming them.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from The Big, The Bold, and The Happy in Versamark, then heat embossed it with green powder. To finish up my card, I assembled my card front, added a yellow ribbon, and embellished with aqua enamel dots.
Stop on by the Winnie & Walter blog for more W&W + Lawn Fawn inspiration... Have a great one!
Supplies:
Stamps - Chevron Backdrops (Lawn Fawn); The Write Stuff, You've Got Love Mail, and The Big, The Bold, The Happy (Winnie & Walter)
Paper - Enchanted Evening, Soft Stone, Berry Sorbet (PTI)
Ink - Versamark (Tsukineko)
Miscellaneous - White Embossing Powder (Hero Arts), Cricket Embossing Powder (Ranger), Aqua Enamel Dots (Doodlebug Designs), Harvest Gold Satin Ribbon (PTI)
I don't know how you do it, but your take on color and bold design is unparalleled! I adore the rich navy background and your use of embossing powder. I took inspiration from you when my original card wasn't working out.
