Winnie & Walter: Scenery - It’s a Wonderful Pennant

Hello! Only a few more days to go until the Winnie & Walter July stamp release... Woot! :) Today, we're featuring cards/projects from the new It's a Wonderful Pennant stamp set.  This set is awesome! I love the versatility of these images, from banners, to trees, to diamonds! :)

To create my card, I started with a piece of white CS, and repeat stamped one of the pennant images in the set to create these cool diamonds for my background in versamark.  I then heat embossed the images, and once they cooled, I covered them with a light watercolor wash. While the background was drying, I stamped the thanks from The Big, the Bold and You in a coral ink, then fussy cut it out.

Once the background was dry, I distressed the edges, then adhered some yellow ribbon and jute twine.  Next, I adhered the background to the aqua card front with pop dots.  The sentiment was then attached with pop dots, and the card was embellished with orange enamel dots.
