Countdown to Confetti: Quirky Cuties - Sammy Squirrel

Hello! :) Today is the first of the sneak peek days for the September Reverse Confetti release, and the DT is featuring cards/projects created using the new Quirky Cuties: Sammy Squirrel set.

To create my little birthday bag, I started by die cutting the bag shape using the new Treat Tote Confetti Cuts on light gray CS.  I then stamped one of the polka dot strips from Whole Lotta Dots in Versamark ink, then heat embossed with white powder.  I then stamped Sammy Squirrel in Stazon gray ink, then watercolored him.  While he was drying, I adhered the pieces of the treat tote together, and wrapped light jute twine around the front, securing with a bow.

Once Sammy was dry, I cut him out, then covered his tail and bow tie in stickles, and his inner ear, eye and acorn in glossy accents.  I then die cut a coral circle and medium gray scallop circle using the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts, and adhered them together with pop dots.  Next, I stamped the sentiment in coral ink onto a strip of white CS, and trimmed the ends before adhering to the gray circle.  To finish up, I attached the sentiment to a lollipop stick, filled the treat tote with yellow tissue shreds, and adhered Sammy to the box front with pop dots.
