Countdown to Confetti: Donut You Know

Hello! :) Today is the second sneak peek day for the November Reverse Confetti release, and the DT is featuring cards/projects created using the new Donut You Know set (and coordinating dies).  This is one of my favorites of this release! I mean, just look at that cute little donut.  Soooo adorable!

To create my card, I started by stamping stripes in yellow ink onto white CS using the So Stripey stamp set.  I then die cut a circle into a piece of polka dotted patterned paper, and adhered the stamped layer behind it with pop dots.  Next, I die cut a scalloped circle using the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts, and used a smaller circle to cut out the middle.  I adhered the white scallop to the patterned paper, then adhered the layer to a kraft card base.

To create the donut, I used the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts on kraft and coral CS (donut and frosting), as well as yellow and mint CS (sprinkles).  I then adhered the "frosting" to the "donut" with mini pop dots before securing it to the card base.  Next, I covered the coral CS with stickles and before the glitter had a chance to dry, I lightly pressed the sprinkles onto the surface.  The sentiment was stamped in versamark before heat embossing with white powder and attaching to the card base. I then die cut three vellum banners using the Circle Garland Confetti Cuts (loooove this new die!), and adhered them to the card front.  To finish up, I embellished with white enamel dots.
