RC Blog Hop - Peace, Love & Joy

Hello! It's the 8th of the month, which means it's time for another Reverse Confetti blog hop.  Today, we're all featuring projects using the theme "pretty packaging" as our guide. Hopefully you've reached my blog by way of Amy's blog.  If not, and you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, click HERE. 

To create my project, I started with a kraft pillow box, and painted it with gray paint.  While the box was drying, I stamped a strip of white paper with the circle heart image from Roundabout Additions in a dark coral ink.  I then wrapped the paper around the dry box, and secured it with glue adhesive.  I then used the Office Edges Confetti Cuts die to create my little tag shape, and stamped it with one of the sentiments from Seasonal Sentiments before heat embossing with white powder.

Next, I die cut the tree pieces using the Branch Out Confetti Cuts, and assembled them.  I then secured the tree to the light coral tag using pop dots.  To finish up, I punched a hole in the corner of the tag, and secured it to the pillow box with twine.
