Countdown to Confetti: The Buzz

Hello! It's the third day of previews for the new Reverse Confetti release, and today we're showcasing projects using the new The Buzz set and coordinating dies.  I adore the sweet bees in this set! 

To create my card, I started by first stamping the beehive from The Buzz in stazon ink, then watercolored the image.  While that was drying, I stamped the smaller bee in versamark onto vellum, then heat embossed with black powder before cutting it out with the Buzz Confetti Cuts.  I then colored in the bee's body with a yellow marker.  Next, I used one of the bee's flight trails as a hanger for the beehive, and stamped it in dark gray ink onto a piece of mint CS.  The branch and leaves from the Tweet Life Confetti Cuts were cut from kraft and green CS, then adhered to the mint CS panel before securing it to the card front.

I used a honeycomb embossing folder on a piece of white CS, then adhered a ribbon and bow before securing the CS strip to the card front.  Next, I adhered the bee and beehive to the card base with pop dots.  One of the sentiments was heat embossed in white onto a strip of green CS.  I trimmed one end of the CS strip into a banner shape before attaching it to the card front with pop dots.  To finish up, I embellished with silver enamel dots.
