TAWS Sneak Peek - Phone Home

Hello! I'm joining the other lovely ladies on the Alley Way Stamps DT today to preview the new Phone Home set, which features some super cute aliens! :)

To create my card, I started with a piece of white CS and stamped the sentiment in versamark ink before heat embossing with white powder.  I then blended various distress inks to create the background and sprinkled it with water.  I then stamped a bunch of little aliens in stazon gray ink, then colored them with watercolor pencils.  While the images were drying, I die cut a circle from the center of a white CS layer.

Once the images were dry, I fussy cut them out, then adhered them to the back of the die cut panel.  The distressed background was adhered to a white card base with pop dots, then the die cut panel was adhered on top.  To finish up, glossy accents were added to each alien's eye, as well as stickle dots on each antenna.
