Hello and happy Friday! :) I am so glad the end of the week is finally here. We've had some cold and wet weather this week, and I am looking forward to the 30 degree jump up to 76 today! :) I have some work in the backyard to do, and the weather couldn't be more perfect for it. Yay! Though I have a black thumb and manage to kill just about every plant I've ever touched, I keep trying year after year. Maybe this year will be the year I finally manage to keep the poor plants alive! *fingers crossed* Lol
For my card today, I used the Case this Sketch #117 sketch, and one of my favorite alien/monster images from Phone Home. To create my card, I started by stamping 6 aliens in stazon gray ink before watercoloring them. While the images were drying, I stamped the sentiment (which is a combination of sentiments found in Oogles and Jibber Jabber) in versamark ink onto mint CS before heat embossing with white powder.
Once the alien images were dry, I went back and added white polka dots to each of them using a marker. I then attached the image layer to a light gray card base with foam tape. The sentiment strip ends were trimmed in a banner shape, then adhered to the card front with pop dots. To finish up, I embellished with orange enamel dots.
Have a great one!
Oh this is so adorable
