Winnie & Walter April/May Release: In Bloom - Addie's Garden

Hello! It's day 3 of the April/May Winnie & Walter release, and today we are showcasing projects made with the In Bloom - Addie's GardenIn Bloom: Maggie’s Roses Cutaways, and The Big, the Bold and Extras Cutaways.  I loooooove the Addie's Garden set! When I saw the images, I just knew they would look *amazing* heat embossed and watercolored!

For my card today, I started with a piece of watercolor paper, and used the larger scalloped frame from the Essentials: Audrey Cutaways to trim it to size.  I then laid out an arrangement of stamps from In Bloom: Addie's Garden (and two supporting images from In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet) on the die cut piece to get a general idea of where I'd like them, then stamped them with versamark ink.  The layer was then heat embossed with white powder before using diluted distress inks to color the panel.

While the images were drying, I used one of the Big, the Bold and Comfort Cutaways to die cut four white and one silver glitter sentiment.  The die cuts were then adhered together with glue.  The smaller sentiment was then stamped in dark gray ink onto light gray paper.  Once the watercolor layer was dry, I adhered the sentiments before attaching the layer to a light gray card base with pop dots.  To finish up, I embellished with purple enamel dots.

Would you like to be entered for your chance to win the set revealed today? Please hop over to the Winnie & Walter blog for more details! :)

Have a great one!
