I'm Ba-ack!

Wow, it feels like it's been forever since I last posted... A whole lot has happened in the past month, but I'm back!

I guess the biggest happenings are that I turned 30 on Christmas, I'm now a SAHM, and my husband's car unexpectedly died (whoohoo!), so I'm toting my toddler around in a minivan... LOL

I hope you all have been doing well! I'm kind of afraid to log in to my Google Reader... Hmmm, over 30 days without stopping by my daily blog fixes... LOL, I'm guessing there will be well over 1,000 posts waiting for me! :)

Anyhooooooo, I'm going to run for now, but I'm planning to get back on track within the next day or so!

Baby Shower Diaper Cake

I have another baby shower to go to tomorrow, so yes, that's right, it's time for another diaper cake! LOL, these are almost as addictive as embossing on tins!

It's a little hard to get a good picture, but you get the idea... :) They're fast to put together, and definitely draw ooh's and aah's from the other ladies attending. LOL, if nothing else, it gives you something to talk about for a minute or two. :P

Details:
4 yds sheer lime green polka dot ribbon, approx. 50 Pampers Swaddlers (size 1), 1 yd of tulle (I used very fine netting for wedding veils), cake platter, 1 large flower, and 1 flower spray.

It's Been a Looong Week...

One of the ladies at our church is getting ready to have her first baby in November... Anyone who knows me knows that I love to shop for baby stuff. :)

Her shower is tomorrow morning, so I've been working on a few things... Hopefully I'll get a chance to take pictures of the other items tonight. This is the diaper cake that I made for her. I wish I could've gotten a better photo, but alas, this is the best I could do. :P
