Jacksonbelle Tuesday Challenge - Flowers

Hi friends, hope your day is off to a great start! :)

It's Tuesday, which means it's time for another Jacksonbelle Embellishments Challenge. This week, our challenge was to create a card focusing on flowers... And with all the snow that we were pelted with a couple weeks ago, a flower theme was just the ticket. I'm so looking forward to Spring! :) I used some uber cute Pink Paislee floral paper and a fun sentiment from one of Basic Grey's Clear Stamp sets to create today's card.

Want to play along with us? Just upload a project to your blog or SCS gallery (using JBE094 as your keyword), and leave a comment on the Jacksonbelle blog with a link to your card.  Also, be sure to check out the Jacksonbelle Embellishments store, lots of new stuff has been added, including some ridiculously cute My Favorite Things stamps.

Instructions:
  • Create 3 1/4" x 6" cream card base.
  • Cover front of card base with patterned paper, and round upper right corner.
  • Cut 1" strip of patterned paper, adhere ribbon, then attach to card base.
  • Cut die shape using Nestabilities die, then stamp sentiment with aqua ink before adhering to card base.
  • Cut out three flowers from patterned paper scrap and adhere to base of card.
  • Attach bow to card, then embellish flower centers and upper corner of card with pink rhinestones.

Supplies:
Stamps - Basic Grey Clear Stamps
Ink - Aqua Mist
Paper - Vintage Cream, Pink Paislee "Hearts Bloom"
Miscellaneous - Ripe Avocado Grosgrain Ribbon, Nestabilities Labels 9, Corner Rounder, My Mind's Eye Lush Pink Rhinestones
