Winnie & Walter: Winter Wishes

Hello! Release day is finally here! :) All the goodies we've been previewing for the past couple of days will be available for purchase at 8pm (CST) tonight.

For my card today, I used the new Stampets: Penguin stamp set, along with the Big, the Bold and Seasons Cutaways, and Big Bang Circle Creative Screenings.  To create my card, I started with an aqua card base, and used embossing paste on the circle stencil to add some fun textured snow.  I then stamped the penguin, earmuffs and scarf with Stazon gray ink, and watercolored the pieces.  While they were drying, I cut two snowy hills from white CS, and covered the tops with chunky clear glitter.  I then adhered them to the card base with pop dots.

Once the watercolored pieces were dry, I fussy cut them out, and assembled them.  The penguin was then added to the card base with pop dots, and stickles were added to the ends of the scarf and to the earmuffs.  I used the Big, the Bold, and Seasons Cutaways on a piece of gray CS, then adhered the winter die cut to the card front.  The remainder of my sentiment was stamped in versamark, then heat embossed with white powder before adhering to the card front.  To finish up, I embellished with pink enamel dots.

Have a great one!
