Heart Gift Packaging

Hello! I'm popping in to share a fun little gift bag I created using some Whisker Graphics goodies.  To create my bag, I started with a Gray Honeycomb Middy Bitty Bag, and used a large heart die to cut out the center of the bag.  To keep the die from going through the front and back of the bag, I placed a silicone mat inside the bag before running it through my die cut machine.

Next, I cut a piece of acetate slightly larger than the heart shape, and adhered it to the inside of the bag.  Since my gift item is smaller than the die cut shape, I wanted to cover the part of the bag you can see through the window, so I inserted a piece of gray CS.  I love the way my daughter's tag pops against the neutral CS.  To finish up, I embellished the top of the bag with some Peppermint Swirl Divine Twine.

Have a great one!

    1. Hi Rebecca! :) I purchased that tag from Clairebella (http://www.clairebella.com/)... It's a plastic luggage tag that I customized w/my daughter's name, and will be used as a name tag for her flute case. :) They're having a 20% off sale at the moment, but there have also been free shipping coupons as well...
