RC Blog Hop - Orange You Glad...

Hello! It's the 8th of the month, which means it's time for another Reverse Confetti blog hop.  Today, we're all featuring Valentine's projects, and you're in for a treat! *wink* :) Hopefully you've reached my blog by way of Amy's blog.  If not, and you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, please click HERE

To create my project, I started by die cutting a scallop circle using the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts on a piece of coral CS.  I snipped between each of the scallops, then lifted every other petal for a fun little detail.  A nesting circle was die cut from white CS using the same confetti cuts, and was adhered to the coral scallop with pop dots.  I then stamped one of the heart images from Heart to Heart in pink ink on white CS, then cut it out with the coordinating Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts.  The die cut heart was then adhered to the circle with pop dots.

I then created a custom sentiment by combining the Fresh 'n Fruity and Puppy Love sets.  Our daughter is 9 years old, and she finds punny jokes hysterical, so when I found some citrus gummy candies at the store the other day, it brought the "orange you glad" sentiment to mind! :)

Parts of the sentiment from Fresh 'n Fruity were stamped in gray ink, then the Valentine's Day portion of the sentiment from Puppy Love was stamped in pink.  I trimmed the ends of the white CS strip into a banner shape, then adhered it to an Orange Middy Bitty Bag with pop dots.  I then closed and secured the bag with Pink Divine Twine before adhering the large scallop circle.  Easy peasy, and so cute!

In celebration of Valentine's Day, RC is having a sale! Yay! :)
