Crazy for Christmas - Memory Keeping

Hello! I'm back again with another Reverse Confetti's Crazy for Christmas project.  Today's theme is "Memory Keeping" and at first I had planned on making more Project Life cards, but after a random trip to Hobby Lobby the other day, that idea went right out the window. ;)

To create my little photo stand, I started by painting the wooden base and topper with aqua paint.  I then painted the perimeter with white paint, and once dry, I went back and added in some chunky stripes in metallic silver.  The wood/MDF is very porous, so it took about a bajillion coats to get a nice, smooth appearance.

Once the stand was dry, I trimmed a piece of gray and white polka dot patterned to fit the stand, and adhered it to the front and back.  I then printed the pic of my daughter backed it with lime CS, then adhered it to the stand.  Next, I added three jingle bells using a series of Solid Caribbean Twine knots, then topping it with a white satin bow.

I then die cut a bunch of different snowflake pieces using the Layered Snowflake CCs on aqua, lime, white and gray CS, then adhered them together.  The sentiment from Winter Word Coordinates was stamped in Versafine ink into vellum, then heat embossed with clear powder.  I then die cut my sentiment word using the Winter Words CC on lime CS.  The vellum strip was trimmed into a banner shape before adhering it to the largest snowflake, then the die cut snow was attached with itty bitty pieces of cut foam tape.  The three snowflakes were then attached to the stand using foam tape.  To finish up, I added rock candy distress glitter on the edges of the stand.
