FTL285 - Thanks So Very Much

Hello! Hope your week has been going well... We've had some crazy weather this week, yesterday it was snowing, and today it's sunny! :) I'm popping in to share a card I created using this week's Clean & Simple Stamping FTL285 sketch.

I started by stamping a mint CS panel with one of the border strips from Peacock Pretties in versamark ink, then heat embossing with white powder.  I then adhered the mint layer to light gray CS.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from Lots to Say in gray ink, then once it dried, I adhered the CS to the card base with pop dots.  Want to play along with us this week? All you need to do is create a card based on the sketch, and link it up to the weekly post here. :)

Have a great one!

FTL219 - Thanks a Million

Hi, everyone! It's a gloomy/dreary day here today, which makes it hard to take photos using a natural light source. :)  Add in the fact that my card has two separate grays, and well, I'm lucky I can post anything at all! Haha

This card was created using last week's Fall-to Layout Sketch (FTL219) from the Clean & Simple Stamping blog.  I used some oldie but goodie stamp sets, as well as my favorite go-to technique... Heat embossing! LOL, I swear, I just can't get enough! :)

Have a great one!

Supplies:
Stamps - Round and Round, Polka Dot Basics 2, Signature Series:  Butterfly
Paper - Smokey Shadow, Soft Stone, Harvest Gold
Ink - Versamark, True Black
Miscellaneous - Clear Embossing Powder, White Embossing Powder, Deco Scallop Punch

FTL216 - Christmas Blessings

Hi, everyone! Hope your weekend is off to a great start... :) Just wanted to pop in and share a little tag I made for the Clean & Simple Stamping's FTL216 sketch.

My hubby is working today, and my daughter spent the night at my parents house last night (and isn't back yet), so I've been busy taking advantage of the peace and quiet in the house today after sleeping in. :) I've already managed to do 3 loads of laundry, a water change for the fish tank, vacuum, put away random odds and ends, straighten up the living areas, run the dishwasher, clean the bathrooms and make this cutie patootie tag! Score! :)

Off to make some scalloped potatoes, fingers crossed I can remember my mom's recipe! :)

Have a great one!

Supplies:
Stamps - Signature Christmas
Paper - Raspberry Fizz, Summer Sunrise, Stamper's Select White, Cosmo Cricket
Ink - Stazon Black
Miscellaneous - Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Nestabilities

FTL215 - Girly, You Rock!

Happy Friday!! Can you believe yet another week has gone by? It's crazy to think that it's already November.  This year has just flown by...

Have you seen any of the photos of the aftermath of Sandy? It's heartbreaking! :( We were so fortunate in this area to not have gotten as much heavy rain and damaging winds as they were expecting... I can't even begin to imagine what the folks up in NJ/NY are going through right now.

Today's card was created for this week's Clean & Simple Stamping FTL Sketch.  I made this for Lindsay, my sweet and precocious kiddo! She's been doing an amazing job so far this school year (she's in 2nd grade), and I thought she should know. :)

Here are some pics from Halloween:

Lindsay dressed up as the princess Merida from Disney's Brave.  She had a blast wearing that wild red wig, and enjoyed all the "wow, look at that hair!" comments she received.  LOL!

Have a great one!

Supplies:
Stamps - Delightful Doilies, Signature Greetings
Paper - Basic Gray (SU!), Sweet Blush, Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Stamper's Select White
Ink - Versamark, Stazon Black
Miscellaneous - 3/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, White Embossing Powder

CC229 - So Glad We're Friends

It's hard to believe it's already Wednesday! :) I created this card for yesterday's Color Challenge: Certainly Celery, Pixie Pink & Apricot Appeal. I didn't have any Pixie or Apricot in my stash, so I substituted Hibiscus and Melon Berry.

Have a great day!

Stamps - Everyday Button Bits, Mod Squad
Ink - Stazon Black, Certainly Celery, Hibiscus Burst
Paper - Kraft, Certainly Celery, Melon Berry, Whisper White
Miscellaneous - Hibiscus Burst Buttons, Melon Berry Grosgrain Ribbon

FTL52 - Just Because

Happy Tuesday! This is the card I created using the most recent Fall-to Layout sketch. I love the Kiwi/Bermuda combo, so it figures that Kiwi is retired! LOL

Have a great day!

Stamps - In Bloom, Mod Squad
Ink - Stazon Black
Paper - Kraft, Kiwi Kiss, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
Miscellaneous - Scallop Border Punch

FTL51 - Thank You

I made this card using last Friday's Fall-to Layout Sketch. I *love* the new Bermuda Bay color (LOL, no surprise considering my favorite colors are aqua/teal, lime green and hot pink) and wish I had gotten the pad before they made it unavailable! LOL, oh well... Guess I'll just have to keep using my markers and wait until they fix the ink pad issue! :)

Stamps - For All You Do
Ink - Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, Melon Mambo
Paper - Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Washington Apple DSP, Guide Lines Grid Paper
Miscellaneous - Teal Rhinestones, Top Note Die

WT227 - Your'e Too Kind

Happy Friday! Hope you're having a great day! We're getting ready to head down to VA for the day (my daughter gets to hang out with her BFF Nana, and I'm getting my summer hair... woot!), I'm just waiting for sleeping beauty to wake up. Isn't that always the way? When I stay up late (LOL, which is more often than not), she's up *early*, and when I'm rolling out of bed early, she sleeps in! LOL

I created this card for today's Ways To Use It Challenge: seeing double. The items I chose to repeat were the Kiwi Kiss corduroy brads.

Stamps - Medallion (SU!), Mega Mixed Messages (PTI)
Paper - Whisper White, Modern DSP
Ink - Melon Mambo, Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay
Miscellaneous - Modern Label Punch, Kiwi Kiss Corduroy Brads, Turquoise Grosgrain Ribbon, Teal Rhinestones, Small Oval Punch
