Winnie & Walter January Release: The Party & The Party Hangover

Hello! It's the final day of previews for Winnie & Walter's January Release, and all the goodies we've been showcasing will be available for purchase later today.  Woohoo! :) Today, we're showcasing projects made with the new The Party and The Party Hangover sets.  Lol, don't you just love the stamp set names Julie & Shay come up with?? They are the cutest!

I have become obsessed with Project Life/pocket scrapbooking layouts lately, and when I first saw the new sets being released this month, I knew they would work perfectly with the photos from our daughter's 3rd birthday. :)

Here are some close-up pics of the layout...
Floral Journaling Card: The Party stamp set

To create the floral journaling card, I started with a piece of white CS, and stamped alternating flowers from The Party in light pink and fuchsia.  I then stamped one of the sentiments from The Party in versamark ink, and heat embossed with white powder.

Hooray Card: Scenery - Classic Stars Stencil, The Party, Scenery - Stripes

To create the balloon card, I started with white CS, and covered it with stars using the Scenery: Classic Stars Stencil and light gray ink.  I then stamped three balloons from The Party in stazon gray ink, then used watercolor paints to color them in.  Once they were dry, I fussy cut them out.  I then stamped three different balloon strings in light gray ink, added a little teal twine bow, and adhered the balloons with pop dots.  Next, I used the leftover circle die cut from Wednesday's card, and stamped it with one of the sentiments from The Party before heat embossing with silver powder.  I then stamped three accent shapes in green ink, fussy cut them out and adhered them to the card.

Birthday Wishes Card: Scenery - Stripes, The Party, and the Big, the Bold and Party

To create the birthday wishes card, I started by covering white CS with stamped images of the medium thickness solid line from Scenery - Stripes in versamark before heat embossing with white powder.  I then lightly painted over the lines with pink and yellow-orange watercolor paint.  Next, I stamped birthday and wishes from the Big, the Bold and Party ink teal ink, fussy cut them out, then covered them with stickles.  Once they were dry, I adhered them to the watercolored layer.  To finish up, three accent shapes were stamped in green ink, fussy cut, and adhered to the layer before embellishing with stickles.

Birthday Hat Card: The Party, The Party Hangover

To create the birthday hat card, I started with a piece of white CS, and stamped it with the curly line from The Party Hangover in aqua/teal, pink and light gray.  I then stamped the striped portion of the hat in light pink, then stamped the base of the hat in teal.  The hat was fussy cut and adhered to the card with pop dots before embellishing with a green enamel dot.
