RC Blog Hop - I Love You More Than Jellybeans

It's finally here! Release day is upon us and all of the Reverse Confetti goodies we've been previewing for the past few days are available for sale.  Yay! :) It's the 8th of the month, which means it's also blog hop time.  The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Lisa Adessa’s blog. (If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, please click here.)

*Note to self: Do NOT take & edit photos without wearing contacts...* Geez, the focus on this picture is really weird... :/ I don't know what's worse, taking a half blurry pic, or not realizing it was blurry until I had already edited it and uploaded it to Flickr?? *hangs head in shame* Lol, how embarrassing! Guess I know what I'll be doing today. :P

To create today's card, I started by stamping one of the bunny images from More Than Jellybeans in versamark ink onto a piece of yellow CS then heat embossing it with white powder.  I then cut out the image using the coordinating More Than Jellybeans Confetti Cuts.  I thought the egg dies would make awesome balloons, so I die cut three eggs from patterned paper, then adhered some metallic silver twine to the back of each one.

I used the Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts to cut out banners from yellow and white CS, as well as some black patterned paper.  I then fiddled with the arrangement of the banners on a medium gray card base, securing them with adhesive once I was happy with their placement.  Next, I adhered the balloons to the card front, tying the ends together with a little bow.  A strip of grass was created by snipping some light gray CS, then adhering it to the card front before scrunching it.  To finish up, I adhered the bunny to the card front with pop dots, then embellished with clear gems.

I hope you've enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of every month for more Reverse Confetti inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Tara Godfrey’s blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

Have a great one!
