Okay, okay, I'll stop rambling... On to today's card! :)
Today's card was created for the Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #21: Aqua, Lemon, Chocolate, and Cream. Such pretty, happy colors that you could really use for just about any occasion or time of year. I chose to focus my card more on spring and how it makes me feel... Happy! :) I'm not a huge fan of summer because I tend to run on the hot side anyway year-round (LOL, flip flops anyone?), and when you couple that with my body's resistance to sweating, I pass out when I get too hot. LOL, definitely embarrassing! So, spring time is the bestest! :)
Instructions:
- Cut cream CS to 6" x 7", score at 3 1 /2" and fold in half to create a 3 1/2" x 6" card base.
- Stamp sentiment in brown ink.
- Stamp background pattern with versamark ink and heat set with clear embossing powder.
- Stamp brown polka dots onto aqua CS, then punch scalloped edge.
- Stamp diamond background on yellow CS, and adhere to aqua CS.
- Add ribbon to aqua/yellow CS, then attach to card base.
- Stamp leaf image onto aqua CS, cut out, and attach to card base.
- Embellish with rhinestones.
