RC Blog Hop - Birthday Wishes

Hello! It's the 8th of the month, which means it's time for another Reverse Confetti blog hop.  Today, we're featuring more projects using the new mini release goodies.  For my projects today, I'll be using the Roundabout Additions stamp set and Envie Wrap Confetti Cuts.  I don't know about you, but I have been loving all of the samples from yesterday's sneak peek!

Hopefully you've come to my blog by way of Sarah Gough's blog, but if not, and you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, please click here.

To create my card, I first started with a kraft woodgrain card base, and adhered two strips of patterned paper.  I then used the Envie Wrap Confetti Cuts on a piece of striped patterned paper, and cut off the perforated section of the die cut before attaching it to the card front with pop dots.

I then stamped one of the larger sentiment circles in versamark, and heat set it with white powder before cutting it out with one of the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts.  I adhered the die cut to the banner with pop dots, then finished up by embellishing with hemp twine and aqua gems.

For my next project, I wanted to create an envelope to coordinate with my card.  I started by die cutting an envelope wrap using the Envie Wrap Confetti Cuts on triangle patterned paper.  I then stamped the deliver to image in versamark onto yellow CS, then heat embossed with white powder before die cutting with one of the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts

I then adhered the image onto the envie wrap, and attached it to the envelope base.  To finish up, I stamped a row of heart and hb2u images in versamark directly onto the envelope.  Fun stuff! :)

Giveaway time! :) Would you like to be entered to win one of two $15 gift certificates? All you need to do to enter is leave a comment at each stop along the hop, and a comment on the Reverse Confetti FB page.  Comments will close at 5pm CST today (October 8th), and the winners (one blog commenter, one Facebook commenter) will be announced October 9th on the Reverse Confetti blog/Facebook page.  Good luck! :)

Well, that wraps it up for me today... Next stop on the hop is Joni Andaya's blog

Have a great one!

  9. That wood grain paper makes such a nice background. I love how this envie wrap makes decorating the envelope too a logical choice.
